About ACES

ACES stands for an Association of a Community Engaged in Sharing.
We are a nonprofit organization supporting women and seniors in Alberta through programs that foster connection, empowerment, and inclusion.

We are dedicated to fostering inclusion, equity, and social cohesion in Alberta.

MISSION

Promote equal access to opportunities for women, and seniors regardless of background or circumstance, and foster a sense of belonging and connection within our community.

VISION

Every Albertan has an opportunity to overcome systemic barriers and successfully navigate through life, leading to better economic, social, and cultural integration.

MANDATE

Provide a safe and inclusive space where refugees, immigrants, Indigenous, and mainstream community women and seniors come together to share their experiences, offer support, mentor each other, engage in learning opportunities, improve women’s physical and mental health, cultivate leadership skills, and promote effective communication and networking while creating an environment that is inclusive and supportive.
